Review: SENLIN ASCENDS (THE BOOKS OF BABEL #1)
So. I finally read this. Many thanks go out to everyone who kept recommending this one to me because reading this has been a joy. The first couple of chapters were just okay, but once Thomas Senlin entered the Parlor, this had me hooked.
Review: FEEDING FRENZY (THE SUMMONER SISTERS #1)
A.W.E.S.O.M.E. „Feeding Frenzy“ is a perfectly-paced mixture of urban fantasy and comedy, filled with hilarious banter between its two main protagonists. Summer and Ophelia are monster hunters, but their work is more complicated than Geralt of Rivia’s in The Witcher.
PUBLICATION DAY
HAPPY PUBLICATION DAY TO ME!
Review: LEAVING THE WAY (THE WAY TRILOGY #2)
Well, I so didn’t expect to not like this one. I really loved the prequel, after all: that one was perfectly paced and a brillantly balanced mixture of sassy sarcasm and dystopian elements. This one wasn’t. Somehow, it all felt off to me, starting right at the start. My biggest issues were with the protagonist’s actions while her best friend was kidnapped, the villain’s incompetence, and the pacing.
Writing: THE COUNTESS OF HABERLUND
People, it’s NaNoWriMo which I spend mostly on the sequel to my debut novel (December 1st!!!), but I’ve also written two short stories in English this week because why not and because people kept asking me to write something in English. Feel free to read them, especially if you like dark humour!
Review: THE WHITE PRINCE
Sorry, but I hated it. The writing was far too fast and hurried and things happened and happened and there was action and action and action and there were almost no other linking words than and and or and the sentences were so long and unreadable like this same sentence here.
